Taken from the Oklahoma City University webpage on wellness:
"Oklahoma City University’s StarPower Wellness Program is designed to increase the health and wellness of its students, faculty, and staff through initiatives focused on the enrichment of the mind, body, and spirit.
OCU recognizes its responsibility to ensure our students, faculty, and staff are equipped with the knowledge, tools, and support needed to lead healthy lives. Studies have shown that individuals with healthy behaviors reduce the occurrence of absenteeism (sick days) and presenteeism (operating at a lower functioning level because of oncoming illness). "
