A brief description of the student group:
Blue Goes Green, a staff and student led sustainability team, has partnered with food services, bookstore, facilities, nursing, career services, and other groups on campus to foster a culture of sustainability.
SGA (Student Government Association) has also made efforts towards sustainability. In Fall 2010 they set up a "Time Car" program. This program plays on low mileage autos in a share pool for students. This could be very beneficial to international students here without cars and to any student interested in lowering their carbon footprint.
There is also a Sustainability Council on campus composed of up of faculty, staff, and students; and their goal is to make the university more ecological friendly.
