A brief description of how weather data or sensors are used:
All irrigation systems at the four campuses are linked to a central control Irrigation Management and Monitoring System located at the Kelowna campus.
This system is being expanded (as budgets allow) to include wireless satellite guided weather information programming control.
Rain sensors at each campus monitor local weather conditions and control irrigation accordingly
