All campuses are located within the Thompson Okanagan. This is an arid region of the South Central Interior of BC. With some areas rated as “Semi-Dessert”
As trees, shrubs and perennials on existing landscaped areas are replaced/renewed water conservation is a top priority. These plantings are all replaced with drought tolerant indigenous varieties.
All new buildings are a minimal “LEED” compliant and as such only xeriscape is considered.
