A brief description of how printing is limited:
As part of its commitment to sustainability, both environmental and financial, Okanagan College uses print management software to monitor, track and charge for printing and copying on campus. This initiative is called Pay Per Print.
For the fiscal year completed March 31st, 2014 staff printing dropped by 12%. The impact of Pay Per Print on student printing was much more drastic. In the 12 months since we launched Pay Per Print for students, student printing has dropped by 72%. This reduction has resulted in substantially less waste from unclaimed/unwanted print jobs.
