Does the institution use a centralized energy management system that allows it to track energy consumption and performance in multiple buildings in a central location?:
Yes
A brief description of the management system:
Building temperatures and fresh air flow are centrally monitored and controlled by a DDC system.
Our Energy Manager takes advantage of our building sub-metering and energy reporitng software to monitor our energy consumption for most buildings.
Okanagan College also uses the Smart Tool program which is mandated by the Province of British Columbia to track carbon emissions.
