The Vernon and Kelowna campus locations only discharge storm water to the ground through drywells and rock-pits. There are no connections from three of our four permanent campus locations to city or municipal storm water treatment systems; storm water is handled on site.

At the Kelowna Campus there is a bio-swale installed adjacent to the existing Library building parking lot.

The Centre for learning building located on the Kelowna campus of Okanagan College utilized the roof para-pit as a collection and retention pond for storm-water which is then slowly discharged through rock-pit on site.
