A brief description of the institution’s wellness and/or employee assistance program(s):

The University has comprehensive wellness programs, including a WellWorks program for staff and faculty, a Employee Assistance Program for staff and faculty, a Wellbeing program for students, a Health Promotion program for students, Counseling and Psychological Services for the entire campus community, a Campus Recreation program for students, and more. Links are provided in the notes section below.

The WellWorks program offers wellness education and resources to university employees and community members through and onsite wellness center and management of the employee wellbeing program, Healthy OHIO. We offer nutrition counseling services to any member of the campus or community and often receive nutrition counseling referrals from other departments such as Athletics and CPS.

Ohio University's Employee Assistance Program (EAP) and Work/Life program is offered through Impact Behavioral Healthcare Services an AllOne Health Company. The EAP is available to all Ohio University employees and their family members.

Wellbeing is a university discount program for students that helps reduce patient costs for select services through Counseling and Psychological Services (CPS).

Health Promotion helps Ohio University students become and stay healthy. We can provide you with up-to-date health information, help you research health topics, and let you know when and where to attend peer-presented programs. You can even request a workshop or presentation for your organization, residence hall or class.

Counseling and Psychological Services (CPS) provides mental health and adjustment services to students and also consultation to faculty, administrators and parents of students. Individual counseling, group counseling, and psychiatry are some of the services offered at CPS, and CPS also makes referrals to a wide range of other services both on and off campus.
