Please note that assured reports are still subject to review by AASHE staff prior to publication, which may require additional revisions. AASHE reserves the right to withhold points for this credit if it is determined that the assurance process was clearly unsuccessful in identifying and resolving inconsistencies or errors (e.g., when AASHE staff identify a significant number of issues that were either not mentioned in the completed review template or not resolved successfully).

Has the institution completed an assurance process that provides independent affirmation that the information in its current STARS report is reported in accordance with credit criteria?:
Yes

Did the assurance process include internal review, an external audit, or both?:
Internal review

The name, title, and organizational affiliation of each reviewer:
Xander Stultz, Student Reporting Assistant, Ohio University
Sam Crowl, Associate Director of Sustainability, Ohio University
Ryan Fogt, Professor of Geography and Sustainable Administration Hub Coordinator, Ohio University

A brief description of the institution’s assurance process:
Once the draft STARS report was complete, Xander Stultz reviewed all credits for which he had not collected information. Sam Crowl reviewed all credits for which Xander had collected information except for two credits, AC-6 and EN-6, which were reviewed by a third reviewer, Ryan Fogt, since both Xander and Sam had participated in data collection and analysis for those credits.

Once the review was completed by the reviewers, Elaine Goetz corrected any credits that required revision. The reviewers then verified that corrections met STARS requirements.

One credit, AC-9, did not meet requirements after the corrections, and was re-reviewed, re-corrected and then verified to meet STARS requirements.
