Transportation surveys have been emailed to all Ohio University faculty, students and staff regularly since 2016. Mode share varies for each survey and by season, but 60.8% is a conservative estimate for student sustainable commuting mode share (bike, carpool, public bus and walk combined).

Data is primarily from a 2018 Transportation Survey (results attached above), data averaged between warmer and cooler seasons. Data from surveys in other years showed similar but sometimes higher percentages of sustainable mode shares.
