A brief description of the method(s) used to gather data about employee commuting, including the timeframe for when the analysis was conducted and how a representative sample was reached, if applicable:
A transportation survey was distributed to all Ohio University students, faculty and staff in late Fall 2016. 527 faculty and staff from the Athens campus responded, which is 12% of the total headcount of faculty and staff. The percentages reported below are therefore an estimate, but a pretty good estimate. In an effort to continue to obtain data the transportation survey will be included in transportation related correspondence throughout 2018.
