A brief description of the institution’s green athletics program, including the specific initiatives selected above:

The University participates in the Game Day Recycling Challenge and several tailgate areas are managed as zero waste events for every home football game.. Athletics fields are watered by rainwater collected from the golf course pond when enough water is present. A "Bobcat Bike Valet" service is provided by the Office of Sustainability for bike parking for afternoon home football games.
