Our Purchasing Policy for the college was revised and approved by the Board of Trustees in 2018 to better reflect a preference for sustainable purchasing. In addition, we passed a single-use plastic water bottle ban on campus in 2016, so college funds cannot be used to purchase single-use plastic bottled water and it is not sold in vending machines or cafeterias.
