Has the institution banned or eliminated the on-site sales and distribution of at least one type of single-use disposable plastic?:
A brief description of the single-use disposable plastics that have been banned or eliminated:
The Sustainability Department and our Green committee raised a concern to our own cafeteria about using single-use forks, spoons, and other plastic utensils. Because of this, we agreed to look for a fund to support our program. we were able to fund this program and now our cafeteria no longer uses single-use forks and spoons. Also, we had the drive to stop using plastic and single-use water bottles and prohibit our cafeteria from selling single-use water bottles. To support this drive we provided free water bottles to our students and installed water fountains and Water refilling stations inside the campus. Projects were implemented for both campuses.
