Oakton's Sustainability Specialist runs a blog "Oakton's Nature" that is shared with employees, students, and community members. We also have an Instagragram page for Oakton Sustainability. We often add Sustainability Blurbs to the School newsletter and maintain an email adress to disseminate Sustainability information with the campus, called "GreenTeam@Oakton.edu". We use this email adress to send out event marketing, sign ups, tips to be green, fun facts about nature, sustainability, etc.

Yes

A brief description of the signage that highlights sustainability features on campus:

We do have signage in our Lee Center to educate visitors about the green building and sustainable features of the space. We also have signage related to our solar thermal array for water heating on campus. Visitors can take a self-guided tour of the building using this signage. We also have Signage at the Campus Greenhouse, Community Garden, Certified monarch habitats, Apiary, and a bulletin board for sustainability where we share updates information and events.

Yes

We offer a LEED self guided tour for our Lee Center for the sciences, which is a sustainably built structure. Tour pamphlets are offered in the Building Lobby and there is signage in the building that corresponds to stops on the provided self-tour.

Yes

We provide a guide on "10 tips for a greener Oakton event" This is a brochure that is embedded in our room booking portal and shared with colleagues, and placed on bulletins and offices throughout campus.

We offer Campus Sustainability Month and Earth Month programs and events, full of tips, tabling, promotions, and engagement for our campus. The outreach material for these are stored in our office drives.
