Does the institution offer at least one immersive, sustainability-focused educational study program that is one week or more in length?:
Yes

A brief description of the sustainability-focused immersive program(s) offered by the institution:
Beginning in 2018, we launched our first Environmental Studies Concentration immersive Field Study Course. This takes place over the summer term and students must meet with one of the program coordinators prior to registration. Courses change over time, depending on which faculty are running the course from year to year. In 2018, the program was a combination of two courses: BIO 109 Plants and Society and HUM122 Environmental Humanities. In 2019, students were only enrolled in BIO 109. Students spend the first several weeks in classroom learning environment, followed by 17 days camping, traveling, and exploring spaces between Illinois and Yellowstone, putting their classroom knowledge into practical experience.
