A brief description of the methodology the institution followed to complete the research inventory:
To determine the count of researchers and departments that were conducting sustainability research within the last three years, the University's research repository, NSUWorks, was utilized to pull a comprehensive list of publications. From the list of all research published within the three year timeline, projects that were not of substantial content were excluded. Any book reviews, articles, or incomplete projects were deleted from the list. By department, each paper was assessed by a team of people to determine if the content was aligned with any of the UN Sustainable Development Goals. To most accurately represent the percentage of research being conducted, each paper was counted one time, and associated with one researcher. This was done to ensure that additional researchers associated with the project from outside of the University were not counted by considering multiple researchers on one project.
