Recyclemania
A brief description of the campaign:
Recyclemania is a collegiate recycling competition over an 8 week period where universities compete to reduce the most amount of waste and increase recycled materials. Sharks Recycling and Green Sharks Sustainability Club partner to create incentives for students to recycle and to create ways to make recycling more interactive.
A brief description of the measured positive impact(s) of the campaign:
With the help of the Green Sharks, NSU is able to get the word out to more students, faculty, and staff in order to increase recycling statistics.

Earth Day Celebration
A brief description of the campaign (2nd campaign):
During the Month of April, the University hosts numerous Earth- related events. All leading up to the main Earth Day event where around 40 NSU and non-NSU businesses, government agencies, non-profits, and more come to host a table to showcase what sustainability means to their organization and how they promote sustainability.

This event not only promotes environmental friendly efforts, but shows the community how they can participate in being sustainable and all the diverse fields of sustainability.
