The Student Sustainability Coordinators under Physical Plant work with multiple organizations including but not limited to, the student run newspaper The Current, with the business and marketing students in collaborative projects, the Department of Marine and Environmental Sciences as well as the Nature Club and Green Sharks Sustainability Club. The Green Sharks Sustainability Club also posts weekly sustainability tips and events online at Instagram. @nsu.green.sharks

A brief description of the signage that highlights sustainability features on campus:
Signage of sustainability features on campus include LEED certified buildings that are labeled with a LEED certification plaque, the plaque with years of Tree Campus recognition, various signage for the recycling program, and miscellaneous signage to advertise sustainability events and recurring programs.

Campus map outlines all sidewalks and bike routes. Our main walking path is labeled with sidewalk stamps of our mascot, Razor the Shark.

Single stream recycling efforts and information is made available for all residential students. Personal recycling bins for rooms are provided for all apartments on campus.
