A brief description of how sustainability is included prominently in new student orientation :
Orientation activities include a webinar held with stakeholders all over campus explaining various sustainable programs and initiatives on campus, primarily single-stream recycling, as well as information regarding sustainability oriented clubs. A recording of the webinar was posted on the Orientation website for students to access outside of the scheduled live webinar time. All students have access including Freshmen, Transfers, Online Students, International Students, Veteran Students and Graduate Students. All new undergraduate students are also required to participate in a First Year Experience course that includes a sustainability or environmental wellness element in each of the sections.
