Consistent with all federal and state laws, rules, regulations, and/or local ordinances (e.g., Title VII,
Title VI, Title III, Title II, Rehab Act, ADA, Title IX, and the Florida Civil Rights Act), it is the policy
of Nova Southeastern University not to engage in discrimination or harassment against any persons
because of race, color, religion or creed, sex, pregnancy, national or ethnic origin, nondisqualifying
disability, age, ancestry, marital status, sexual orientation, military service, veteran status, political
beliefs or affiliations, and to comply with all federal and state nondiscrimination, equal opportunity

we have a team of individuals working in the Inclusion and Diversity department of NSU. They host dialogue sessions every month discussing current diversity and inclusion issues on campus.
We also follow Title IX and have protocols to respond to all discrimination events. These can range from mediation to suspension, expulsion, and/or termination from the university.

Campus recruiters attend college fairs in underrepresented areas. NSU also provides incentives, such as scholarship, to underrepresented groups.

Services provided at the center include: treatment for anxiety, panic and depression; anger management; financial stress; social struggles; chronic illnesses; abuse; suicidal thoughts; break-ups and divorce; assault; and many other areas affecting a students quality of life. In addition to the office hours listed below, a crisis hotline is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to give support and counseling by phone. This is offered to both students and staff.
