Institution uses green infrastructure to manage rainwater and employs LID practices on a case-by-case basis. There are a handful of NSU buildings that are LEED certified. (gold and silver)

The construction of the streets on campus are angled to control the direction of the rainwater to avoid flooding on streets. Walkways are also built to avoid puddles. No official written policy.
