Yes

A brief description of steps taken to reduce hazardous, special (e.g. coal ash), universal, and non-regulated chemical waste:
NSU has implemented training modules, policies and procedures, safety committees and hazardous waste coaching from EHS staff members.  These efforts combine helps to reduce hazardous waste streams.

A brief description of how the institution safely disposes of hazardous, universal, and non-regulated chemical waste:
Waste is safely collected from various locations and brought to a centralize hazardous waste storage area on site.  A certified hazardous waste company safely packages and disposes all of hazardous and non-hazardous waste.

A brief description of any significant hazardous material release incidents during the previous three years, including volume, impact and response/remediation:
None

A brief description of any inventory system employed by the institution to facilitate the reuse or redistribution of laboratory chemicals:
NSU has an internal chemical system (manual) and periodically uses and external company to perform a chemical inventory. NSU is in negotiations currently to purchase a web based tool.

NSU's electronic recycling program is offered through the Office of Procurement. This waste is generated from students, faculty, and staff who's electronics break and are no longer needed.
