Community housing assistants- Leadership Training
A brief description of the student educators program (1st program):
Before the academic year begins the community housing assistants attend leadership training to prepare them to support other student housing occupants. As a part of this training, the sustainability team was brought in to teach students about green living and waste management on-site. Community housing assistants share this information with other occupants as they integrate into campus housing. One student in particular took the initiative to plan a sustainability campaign in their housing building publishing posters, and events and engaging students in conversations on sustainability.
