A brief description of the institution’s wellness and/or employee assistance program(s):
There is an Employee Assistance Program (EAP) that is available to all employees. The EAP is a voluntary, confidential, short-term counselling and advisory service that connects individuals and their immediate family members to a network of dedicated professionals who are available to provide assistance 24 hours a day. This network includes experienced counsellors, psychologists, social workers and other specialists.

NSCC Student Services offers programs and one-on-one support throughout the year to help students learn how to get the most out of their experience at NSCC and prepare students for what comes next. NSCC Library Services provides Stress Relief Zones in each of the campus libraries to provide students, faculty and staff with a place to take a break from studying and the work day, refresh their minds and have a bit of fun. The spaces have a range of items including colouring and puzzle books, Lego, brain teasers, jigsaw puzzles and board games.
Library Services also provides access to a wide range of print and electronic resources related to health and wellness.
