A brief description of the child care program, policy, or practice:
Nine NSCC campuses have a childcare facility. These campuses with childcare facilities give preference to NSCC students and staff. Spots are held for NSCC staff and students before members of the community are able to sign up.
Our Pictou campus offers a discount to staff and students. They pay $29 a day whereas the regular rate is $31 a day. Students can also go through community services to get subsides to pay for daycare.
