A brief description of the metering system:
Every campus has a centralized energy management system that allows for the tracking of energy consumption from a single location. Additionally, every year Facilities and Engineering do an annual report of energy consumption.

The campuses that require oil and propane are monitored by the service provider.
At most campuses the electricity is metered by Nova Scotia Power or the Central Energy Management System.
Natural Gas is also monitored by the campuses’ Central Energy Management Systems.
