A brief description of the food bank, pantry, or equivalent resource:
The Purple Pantry
Students experiencing difficulty accessing food can drop by the Purple Pantry, the on-campus food pantry. The Purple Pantry operates every Thursday from 10 am to 1 pm at the Sheil Catholic Center (2110 Sheridan Road). Individual appointments can also be arranged. The Purple Pantry is intended to be as barrier-free as possible, so it accommodates individuals with vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, kosher, and halal dietary needs.
