A brief description of how sustainability is included in new employee orientation:

All employees are required to attend a series of two half-day New Employee Orientation sessions. During orientation, the Human Resources department provides new staff members with information about sustainability efforts at Northwestern. This includes a fact sheet about how to recycle on campus and how to get engaged in the Green Office program and other campus sustainability initiatives. In addition, sustainNU is working with Human Resources to develop online training materials focused on sustainability. This will include a web-based training module and a "playlist" of educational videos and other resources focused on sustainability.
