Northland College is part of the Eco-League, a consortium of six liberal arts colleges across the United States including: Alaska Pacific University, College of the Atlantic, Dickinson College, Green Mountain College, and Prescott College. The Eco-League is dedicated to environmental stewardship, social change, and educating students to build a sustainable future.

Northland regularly shares resources with other Eco-League schools. Several students have attended our partner schools, and at least one faculty collaboratively taught a semester with an Eco-League school. In addition, last Fall Northland faculty, staff, and students collaborated with Jeffery Ball from Stanford’s Steyer-Taylor Center for Energy Policy and Finance to encourage greater sustainability on the Stanford University campus. Our collaborations included descriptions of Northland's sustainability programs and curriculum, student sustainability initiatives and leadership roles, and successful methodologies.
