Northland College resides on the south shore of Lake Superior in the small city of Ashland, WI (population less than 9000). The campus consists of three academic buildings with classrooms (Center for Science and the Environment, Wheeler Hall (humanities), and Visual Arts Building), the Ponzio Campus Center, an Athletics Facility with gym and fitness center, two administrative buildings (Wakefield Hall and Brownell Hall), the Dexter Library, the President's House, the Sigurd Olson Environmental Institute, the Hulings Rice Food Center, Maintenance buildings/shops, and numerous residence halls.
