Non-toxic materials in the Art and Chemistry departments are prioritized. When toxic materials are needed, only small quantities are purchased at a time.

Materials are collected from satelite collection stations and shipped through an approved vendor. Regular monitoring of campus departments occurs throughout the year, and ongoing training in materials handling is offered.
