In October 2022, Northern's Sustainability Advisory Council administered a survey on transportation habits of students, staff, and faculty at Northern Michigan University. A total of 1,312 people responded to the survey, which was a representative sample of the total student and employee population at Northern Michigan University. The survey asked respondents what types of transportation they primarily use to get to and from campus using the categories outlined here in OP-16. See the attached Excel sheet for the results of the transportation survey.
