A brief description of the institution’s community garden:
NIU hosts the "communiversity garden". The garden is managed by a staff member and paid student interns and utilizes student and community volunteers. Produce from the gardens is free to the student community, and much of it is donated to our campus food pantry. More info is available on the website.
