Worldwide Teach in for Climate Justice

A brief description of the campaign:
In March and April 2022, NIU participated in the Worldwide Teach in for Climate Justice to raise awareness for the need for climate action on campus. This was a series of student, faculty and staff led events, all themed around climate justice.

A brief description of the measured positive impact(s) of the campaign:
This ultimately resulted in our university president signing the Second Nature Carbon Commitment and the formation of a climate action planning taskforce.
