A brief description of the institution’s main campus and other aspects of the institutional boundary used to complete this report:

This report encompasses NAU's primary Mountain Flagstaff Campus, as well as the historic Hat Ranch land near Williams that NAU acquired in April 2021.

Main Campus Parcels: 482.6 AC
Hat Ranch Parcels: 1,696.7 AC

Which of the following features are present on campus and which are included within the institutional boundary?:
Present? Included?
Agricultural school No No
Medical school Yes Yes
Other professional school with labs or clinics (e.g. dental, nursing, pharmacy, public health, veterinary) Yes Yes
Museum Yes Yes
Satellite campus Yes No
Farm larger than 2 hectares or 5 acres No No
Agricultural experiment station larger than 2 hectares or 5 acres Yes Yes
Hospital No No

The rationale for excluding any features that are present from the institutional boundary:

We have multiple satellite campuses across the state, but access to any information about their academics or operations is limited and difficult to acquire. As a part of our Climate Action Plan, this is an area we are currently improving to accurately report and demonstrate our total carbon footprint.
