Name of the campaign:
Open Air Market Tabling

A brief description of the campaign:
At the weekly Open Air markets, the NAU Green Fund tables and engages with the NAU community. The discourse created by these interactions brings awareness to campus sustainability and climate action and educates students about how to get involved.

A brief description of the measured positive impact(s) of the campaign:
Since the Green Fund has started to focus its efforts and its programming on students during this weekly event, we have seen an increase in student participation in sustainability programs. This past year, three project ideas came from these discussions and have since been funded through the NAU Green Fund and completed.

Brandon McNamara- Quantifying Financed Emissions at NAU: A Novel, Data-based Approach to the Fossil Fuel Divestment Movement.

Ross Priehs- Quantifying the cradle-to-gate GHG emissions associated with
NAU’s purchases of goods, services, and capital equipment.
