Yes

A brief description of the single-use disposable plastics that have been banned or eliminated:
NAU has banned both the use of single-use plastic bags and single-use straws as of 2018 at its take-out dining locations and dining halls.

Straw Free Flag is a collaborative initiative between NAU, the City of Flagstaff, Azulita Project, and other community organizations. We are working towards ridding Flagstaff of single-use plastic straws. The green fund purchased 1000 metal straws to distribute to promote reusable straws over plastic.
