A brief description of the innovative policy, practice, program, or outcome :
Northern Arizona University has initiated a innovative program to increase our energy efficiency on campus. The University has contracted with NORESCO to implement an Energy Conservation Through Behavioral Change program. Over the past year we completed a Human Behavioral Energy Audit to determine a baseline for how community members use energy on campus. Over the next few years we will implement the program in an attempt to minimize those energy wasting behaviors that we have identified on our campus. This program is tied into a large, 18 million dollar, performance contract with NORESCO to update our energy efficiency on campus.
