The first-year experience kicks off each year with the Flagstaff Reads program. Flagstaff Reads is a city-wide program that aims to engage the students of Northern Arizona University and the community of Flagstaff in a common book experience that encourages dialogue and community involvement. No Impact Man: The Adventures of a Guilty Liberal Who Attempts to Save the Planet by Colin Beavan is the chosen book for Fall 2011.
