A brief description of the methodology the institution followed to complete the research inventory:
A brief survey was distributed to all 59 program chairs to solicit information about their respective areas for the STARS report. One of the questions asked the chairs to familiarize themselves with the definition of sustainability research, and then to identify employees to add/remove from the sustainability research inventory from NAIT's first STARS report in 2012. They also had the option to add a brief description of the research completed.
