A brief description of the guidelines for franchisees:
Sustainability initaitives either franchise driven or compliance with exisiting NAIT policy is a scored component of an RFP for franchise.
90% iof the disposable paper goods Food Services uses are compostable or biodegradable. Wherever possible, we use these in franchise operations (napkins, plates, cutlery).
We engage in open dialogue with our franchisors to effect change. For example, we are working with our pizza franchise to change the pizza boxes to nestable material made from recylced content.
