Resumes are submitted – any volunteer can participate but executives are chosen through resume and faculty.

Students attend a Leadership retreat through ACE Canada as well as access to the ACE online portal of resources, templates, and tool kits. SIFE NAIT also organizes workshops for students. Students are also encouraged to enroll in the Student Leader in Distinction program at NAIT.

Currently four dedicated Faculty Advisors attend meetings and provide guidance to students through the executive and projects. The JRSSB has provided dedicated office space and finances presentation teams to compete at Regional and National Competitions. Many other departments support the initiatives of the student driven programs, including novaNAIT, which help source other funding and operational resources. NAITSA also provides grant opportunities for this program as SIFE NAIT falls under a NAIT club.
