D'Amore McKim School of Business Sustainability Steering Committee
A brief description of the employee educators program (1st program):
The D’Amore McKim School of Business (DMSB) has a Sustainability Steering and Planning Committee. The intention of this committee is to promote sustainability initiatives within DMSB through its purchasing decisions, education/awareness, and events. The Director of Campus Sustainability & Engagement serves as a member of this Committee to provide support and engage the Committee in other university sustainability campaigns and initiatives.
The DMSB Sustainability Steering Committee has used competitions and a weekly “Sustainability Corner” in the DMSB weekly newsletter to engage the DMSB community. They also have a procurement initiative where they analyze departmental purchasing and make shifts towards sustainable, diverse, and inclusive products.
