The square footage for laboratory space was calculated by adding up the total square footage of laboratory building on campus or on satellite campuses.
The square footage for healthcare space was taken from the university Space Planning department that hshow the space occupied by the University Health and Counseling Services and list the gross square footage.
The square footage for server farms, dining locations, and convenience/grocery stores was taken from university Space Planning documents that list the gross square footage of different space types.
