Northeastern University has been an affiliate member of the WRC since at least 2010. It is renewed annually each spring. The University takes this commitment seriously and chose not to renew a contract with Nike in 2017 when the company wasn't meeting Northeastern's expectations for all of its licensees (not just the WRC). The University takes its consortium commitments very seriously in its purchasing decisions for the Bookstore, gear, and other products.
