Student Leadership Program
A brief description of the student educators program (1st program):
Student Leadership offers opportunities for students to develop leadership skills and represent the student body. Student Leaders build a sustainable community by assessing social, fiscal, and environmental impacts to the entire campus while serving as the voice of the students. Student leadership is comprised of a number of boards that focus on events, clubs, campus committees, student fees, governance, and sustainability.
Some examples of peer-to-peer outreach activities from fall 2018-fall 2021 include the P-patch student gardening, creating and maintaining The Fair Trade Campus designation, a quarterly speaker series on race, free textbook exchanges, a food pantry program, EcoChallenge, support for various affinity groups, and a voter registration campaign.

Additional documentation to support the submission:
Data source(s) and notes about the submission:
Currently, we cannot access our financial system to recover hours worked. So, we estimated based on the number of student leaders in sustainability and governance. We have 6 students, who average 5 hours per week for 10 weeks each quarter, over 3 quarters.
