The president's Diversity & Inclusion Council for Equity (DICE) is an advisory council that supports and advocates for the strategies, vision and values around diversity. It seeks to provide leadership for ongoing learning, discussion, dialogue and understanding about diversity by all members of the NSCC campus community, including students, staff, faculty and administration
The Gender Equity Resource Center (GenEQ) at NSC is a campus based service available to current and prospective students of all gender identities and sexual orientations. The GenEq is committed to providing a welcoming, friendly and supportive environment for individuals of all gender identities. It also offers direct support, social service referrals, educational programming and other resources to minimize barriers, empower students and promote academic success.

Coordinated Studies include a cultural competence learning outcome to which all students must take.
Diversity training is included in faculty and classified staff retreats as well as providing funding for PD allocated from DICE. Staff and faculty participate in yearly training at conferences and workshops that include: ENCORE, National Conference on Race and Ethnicity, Undocumented Student Conference, SAFE Zone training (majority of campus).
Through our staff and faculty professional development program, The Learning Center (TLC), a number of articles and educational materials about the Multicultural Competencies are provided.
Also, through the Office of Diversity and Retention, employees can participate in the Training of Facilitators, where staff are trained to give workshops about diversity, equitable education, and cultural competency)
