Tennis courts have been removed covering 100 square feet in area, and 2 inch minimum thickness, so is approximated to result in at least 125 tons of asphalt. 100% of this material is being stored, broken down and re-used on campus.

OCE&E – Opportunity Center for Employment & Education is a LEED Gold Certification Building.Over 98% of the construction waste created by the project was diverted from landfills and either reused or recycled, and over 20% of the building materials were made from recycled content, reducing the need for extracting virgin resources and materials for the build process. The Demolition waste report occurred in 2013, so predates this submission.
