NSC supports one employee collaboration day per quarter. Resident employees and guest speakers present on a number of topics to support the strategic plan goal of "engaging in a sustainable community." One recent speaker included the following: Creating a Culturally Inclusive Campus. "A culturally inclusive campus is an engaging, interactive, and safe place where students, staff, and faculty may all participate fully in a welcoming and respectful learning and working environment." Everyone is cordially invited to join our Guest Speaker, UW Professor of Education and Distinguished Scholar, Dr. Geneva Gay, for a deeper look into what it takes to create a truly culturally inclusive campus.
